1. Agreement
By using Haunting.org you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Haunting is a free place to share reports of the paranormal. You do not need an account to post, comment or react.
2. What you post
You may post stories, photos, videos and audio clips that you captured or experienced yourself. You are responsible for everything you post. Do not post content that:
- Is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity
- Sexualizes minors, or contains any sexual content you have no right to share
- Threatens, harasses or targets a person or group
- Shows graphic violence, gore or self-harm
- Reveals someone else's private information, such as their address or identity without permission
- Infringes someone else's copyright or other rights
- Is spam, advertising, or malware
No AI or artificially created content. AI-generated or otherwise artificially created stories, photos, videos, audio clips or comments are not allowed or permitted on Haunting.org. Everything you post must be a real account, recording or image of something you captured or experienced yourself.
3. Your license to us
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give Haunting a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, copy and share your content on the site, and to show it to visitors who view or share it.
4. Permanent posts
Once you post a story, photo, video, audio clip or comment, it cannot be edited or removed by you. Posts are published as they are submitted and stay on Haunting.org. Please review your content carefully before you post, because we cannot take back what has been shared.
5. Anonymous posting and moderation
Posts can be made without an account, so we may not know who posted something. We may review and remove content that breaks these Terms or the law, with or without notice. Posts cannot be removed at the request of the person who posted them. We are not required to monitor content, but we may act on reports.
6. Accuracy and no guarantees
Haunting is a community space. Stories and media are posted by users and are not verified by us. We do not endorse any post. The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.
7. Third-party links
Share buttons link to Facebook, X, Reddit and WhatsApp. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply when you use them.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Haunting is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated Terms.
